Carrtunes, Jami Jamison at Sundown music series
Beginning May 15 and continuing through Sept. 18, Jack London State Historic Park will be open late on the third Thursday of the month for its Sundown Music Series. As afternoon turns to dusk, visitors to the park will enjoy free entertainment by local musicians and the park’s 1,400 scenic acres and over 20 miles of trails.
Cynthia Carr and the Carrtunes will kick off the series on May 15, with songs from 1940s gems to Doo Wop to the Grateful Dead. These Glen Ellen favorites do it with style and three-part harmony!
The next Sundown concert is June 19, featuring the jazzy, torchy, bluesy Jami Jamison Band.
On these third Thursdays, the park will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. The barbecue grill will be going with food available for purchase, or you can bring your own picnic. Glen Ellen Market creates a special boxed picnic meal with proceeds going to support the Park.
This is a free event (other than the charge for parking, which is a special reduced fee of $5).
