“Happy Daze” at Glen Ellen Historical Society
Those who were there last November will remember how “Those Were the Daze” lit up the old Grist Mill in Glen Ellen. A few hundred people came to hear local musicians tell the stories and make the sounds of that turnaround time in the 60s and 70s. Now there’s another chance to hear the old songs, and some new ones, this time on the decks above Sonoma Creek at Jack London Village.
“Happy Daze Are Here Again” is the name for this particular gathering, sponsored by the Glen Ellen Historical Society as they kick off their annual membership drive.
Admission is free, although donations to and memberships in the Glen Ellen Historical Society are strongly encouraged.
Headlining the afternoon are the Davedjohn Quartet, Ten Foot Tone, and David Aguillar & Friends, opened by the Blonde Sandwich, Bjorn Again, and Impromptus. The whole thing takes place Saturday afternoon, May 31, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Jack London Village. Don’t miss it this time!
