Sonoma Valley Library book sale
Now is the perfect time to grab some books and top off your summer reading at the Sonoma Valley Regional Library’s book sale. The sale starts Aug. 20, with a members-only preview from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (memberships are available throughout the sale) and opens to the public from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Aug. 21 and 22 the sale runs from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 23.
The library has a super selection of books ranging from escapist fiction to practical how-to books and just about everything in between, including CDs, audiobooks, DVDs, VHS tapes, and vinyl records. Nothing is priced at more than $2, and all students grades K-12 receive one free selection. Also, when you take your book sale receipt to Crisp Bakery across the street, 25 percent of your coffee/pastry purchase will go the Friends of the Sonoma Valley Library.
The library is located at 755 W. Napa St., Sonoma.
