Survey input sought for county parks plan

Sonoma County Regional Parks is developing a plan to provide a vision to improve the parks run by Sonoma County, a project known as The Sonoma County Integrated Parks Plan (SCIPP).

The planning effort will explore opportunities to align Sonoma County’s parks and open spaces with regional economic, environmental, and community initiatives, while strengthening the mission of Sonoma County Regional Parks of preserving natural and cultural resources, ensuring public access to expansive open spaces, and providing convenient and safe recreation facilities for residents and visitors.

As part of the planning process, the public is being asked to take a short survey to tell park officials how you use the parks, what services you use the most, what you would like to see more of in the parks, etc. To take the survey, go to tinyurl.com/mfcpx4s.
