Be a part of history

The Sonoma Valley Historical Society needs you.

Have you ever thought about being a museum docent? The commitment can be as little as three hours a month. Do you like to visit with other people from around the world? Youíd be amazed at the variety of knowledge and experience visitors bring to our valley. Itís fun and educational.

The Depot Park Museum is open three days per week, 1 to 4 p.m., Friday through Sunday. The Historical Society is currently looking for two people to work inside the museum to welcome visitors and encourage children and adults to ask questions about the exhibits and the Sonoma Valley. There is also a small gift shop inside the museum.

The Historical Society will train you and give you a Docent Handbook to take home and study. Be a part of Sonoma Valley. Be a part of the Historical Society. Be a part of history!

Please contact Docent Coordinator Ellen Reid at 779-9168, or Museum Director Sandi Hansen at 938-1762.
