Animals to be blessed in Kenwood

St. Francis Winery and St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church will be hosting separate Blessings of the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 4, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi.

Bring your animal companion to the 10:30 a.m. service at St. Patrick’s. If your pet isn’t socialized well enough to go to church, you can bring a photo instead. St. Patrick’s is located at 9000 Sonoma Hwy. in Kenwood.

St. Francis Winery will hold their blessing from 2 to 5 p.m. Bring your furry friend to get blessed and spend the afternoon helping to raise money for the Sonoma Humane Society. Admission is free.

There will also be a raffle and silent auction.

St. Francis Winery is located at 100 Pythian Road (at Hwy. 12). Call 538-9463 for more information, or go to
