Winery event study session at BOS

As part of an ongoing county process to develop standards for promotional activities and events on agricultural lands, the Board of Supervisors will hold a study session July 12, 3:10 p.m., in the Board chambers.

The board will give input to county planners who have been working on issues surrounding the significant increase in winery related tourism, particularly in the west side of the county, and in Sonoma Valley.

Staff at the Permit and Resource Management Department (PRMD) will eventually develop a package of recommendations for the Planning Commission to consider, proposals that will eventually go to the Board of Supervisors for deliberations this fall.

The chambers of the Board of Supervisors is located at 575 Administration Dr. in Santa Rosa.
