Give to Kenwood, Dunbar schools



For those of you who would like to support families and staff members who suffered losses due to the fires, Kenwood School is holding a gift card drive. The school is asking for gift card donations so individual families can fulfill their own needs as they arise. VISA gift cards, cards for Safeway, Target, gas stations, etc., are especially useful. The school has a a gift card donation box in the front office, and the school will distribute the cards to families in need.

At Dunbar School, there is a gofundme site started by the school’s Parent Teacher Organization to help raise funds to replace the school’s outdoor stage that was destroyed, rebuild the garden that burned, and restore the kindergarten play area. The gofundme site is www.gofundme.com/dunbar-elementary-school.

The Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood and Transcendence Theatre are also raising money for these efforts.
