Bouverie offers guided nature walks

Bouverie Audubon Preserve

Saturday March 23rd 2013 - 9:30am to

The community is invited to Bouverie Preserve on March 9 and March 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to experience half-day guided nature walks at the 535-acre preserve. The walks are a great opportunity to explore this preserve, which is open to the public on a limited basis throughout the year.

Participants are divided into small groups and paired with a trained Bouverie volunteer to explore the mixed evergreen forest, oak woodlands and rugged chaparral. The walks range from two to five miles.

There is no fee for the program, but a $15 per person contribution is suggested and appreciated. Contributions support the preservation, nature education and conservation science programs of Audubon Canyon Ranch.

Advanced reservations are required. To RSVP or learn more call 415-868-9244, or email rsvp@egret.org.
