Wildflower walk at Hood

Enjoy the springtime beauty of Sonoma County's parks on a free, guided wildflower hike on April 27 in Hood Mountain Regional Park. Hikers can expect to see colorful blooms and learn more about local wildflowers from Master Gardener volunteers. The hike will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. An eight-mile round trip, this is a strenuous wildflower outing and includes an elevation gain of at least 1,000 feet. Meet in the Pythian Road parking lot. Heavy rain cancels. Parking is $7 or free for Regional Parks members. For more details, visit sonomacountyparks.org or call 565-2041.
