“Art of Eating” returns to Bouverie

The 3rd Annual Art of Eating – the food, wine and brews benefit for Audubon Canyon Ranch (ACR), a leader in conservation science, habitat protection and restoration and nature education – will take place on June 2 at the Bouverie Preserve in Glen Ellen.
This year’s Art of Eating will feature an exhibition of M.F.K. Fisher first-edition books and rare examples of Fisher’s original magazine articles. “The Perfect Dinner Party” exhibit will be curated by Randall Tarpey-Schwed, an expert on the writing of M.F.K. Fisher and editor of M.F.K. Fisher: An Annotated Bibliography.
The event’s theme is “Food, Wines and Brews from the San Francisco Foodshed,” and will feature food and beverage pairings and dessert, along with live and silent auctions. The event is inspired by the life of M.F.K. Fisher, who changed the way we think about eating and drinking in America, and was a close friend of David Bouverie. Fisher spent the last two decades of her life living at the Bouverie Preserve.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the education programs of ACR, which annually provides grade school students the opportunity to experience nature-based educational experiences at no cost to the schools.
