Guided walks offer glimpse of Bouverie’s treasures

Bouverie Audubon Preserve

Saturday April 19th 2014 - 9:00am to

Experience the beauty and rich natural history of the 535-acre Bouverie Preserve in Glen Ellen during half-day guided nature walks on two upcoming Saturdays, April 12 and April 26.

Participants are divided into small groups and paired with a trained Bouverie volunteer to explore the mixed evergreen forest, flower-carpeted oak woodland and rugged chaparral. Guided nature walks are from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and range from two to five miles. Visitors of all ages are welcome.

There is no charge, but donations are appreciated. Contributions support the preservation, education and conservation science programs of Audubon Canyon Ranch, which operates Bouverie Preserve, located at 13935 Sonoma Hwy. in Glen Ellen.

Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not definite until confirmed.

To make a reservation, email rsvp@egret.org, or call 415-868-9244.
