Help the birds


Spring Lake

Saturday February 2nd 2019 - 10:00am to

Feb. 2, 10 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. at Environmental Discovery Center, Spring Lake Regional Park

In the morning session, join a park naturalist to help clean out nesting boxes and discover the talents of nest building performed by migrating bird species who inhabit our parks. Cleaning supplies will be provided. Free. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members. In the afternoon session, learn about the local birds that share our backyards during the winter season, including both migratory birds and those that visit all year long. Make a birdfeeder to take home and see which birds show up for a visit. Materials and birdseed provided. All ages welcome. Free. Parking is $7 or free for Regional Parks members. The Environmental Discovery Center is located at 393 Violetti Road in Santa Rosa.
