36th Annual Plowing Play Day


Jack London State Park

Sunday May 19th 2019 - 10:00am to

May 19, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

See mules and Clydesdales, Percheron, Shire and Belgian draft horses, blacksmiths, and early gas engines at Jack London State Park. The North Coast Draft Horse and Mule Association presents this free, family event featuring plowing and harnessing demonstrations and free horse-drawn wagon rides. Food from Picazo Café will be available for purchase, with places to picnic throughout the park, home of the famous writer Jack London, who also raised Shire draft horses. Admission is free, but parking is $10.

Jack London State Historic Park is located at 2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen and online at www.jacklondonpark.com.
