Take a Hike series

Jack London State Park

Saturday June 22nd 2019 - 9:00am to

9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Did you know that there are 30 miles of trails to explore at Jack London Park, ranging from redwoods to chaparral to incredible vistas? Each month volunteer naturalists guide participants on a new hike, ranging from moderate to strenuous, four to 13 miles in length. Choose the hike that works for you. John Lynch will lead the first hike on the Upper Fallen Bridge Trail and out to the Historic Orchard area. This moderate, 5.5-mile hike will offer a workout through a variety of habitats. Bring hiking poles, if you have them, dress in layers, bring plenty of water and snacks, and wear sturdy shoes. Meet in the ranch parking lot on the right as you enter the park. Hike is free. Parking fee applies.
