Butterflies and dragonflies hike

Trione-Annadel State Park

Sunday July 21st 2019 - 9:00am to

It’s butterfly and dragonfly season at Trione-Annadel State Park – and they are plentiful this year. Naturalist John Lynch will lead a leisurely exploration on Sunday, July 21, to discover where and what is flying around, and learn more about the lake habitats. The route will include approximately 250 feet of elevation gain over about six miles of varied trails, with a stop for lunch.

Meet at 9 a.m. at the WP Richardson parking lot. Wear hiking shoes, layers appropriate for weather, and bring water and lunch. Trekking poles are recommended. Some trails are rocky and uneven. There are restrooms and water in the parking area. Dogs are not allowed.

See Trione-Annadel State Park website for more details about the park at www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=480; click “Park Events.”
