Trione-Annadel trail work day
Saturday August 17th 2019 -
The next Sonoma County Trails Council (SCTC) volunteer work day to maintain the trails at Trione-Annadel State Park is Saturday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. to about 1 p.m. Volunteers will be cutting back vegetation blocking the trails, which includes hiking some distance uphill.
Meet at 9 a.m. at the bottom of North Burma Trail on Channel Drive. Look for the white SCTC tool trailer. There will be parking passes for those who drive and there should be adequate parking in that general area. Parking along Channel Dr. is allowed with a parking pass, as long as you are off the pavement.
SCTC will provide tools and Clif bars, with Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages afterwards.
Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen. Poison oak is present, so long sleeves are suggested.
No experience necessary; there will be tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In order to make sure there are enough tools and after-work beverages, email firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to attend.
