Did you know that there are 30 miles of trails to explore at Jack London Park, ranging from redwoods to chaparral and incredible vistas?
John Lynch will lead a hike on Saturday, Aug. 24, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., as you will “learn the orchard and never get lost again.” This is prime time to experience the orchard’s bounty but with so many trails it’s easy to get lost. A moderate hike of approximately five miles round trip with a little nature, a little history, and lots of hiking.
Bring your hiking poles, if you have them, and plenty of water and snacks, and wear sturdy shoes. Dress in layers so you’re comfortable no matter the temperature. Meet in the ranch parking lot on the right as you enter the park. The hike is free. Parking fee applies.
