Fall 2019 Volunteer training for Jack London Park

Jack London State Park

Saturday September 14th 2019 - to

By joining the team of volunteers who help operate Jack London State Historic Park, you will meet visitors from all over the world and help share the Jack and Charmian London legacy. Volunteers are needed to work in the entrance station, bookshop/visitor center, as docents in the museum and cottage, conduct tours, drive golf carts, play piano, help with administrative/office duties, work in park and trail maintenance and assist with special events. No experience required.

Upcoming two-day training sessions begin on Friday, Sept. 6 and Saturday, Sept. 14, running from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days.

Volunteers are asked for a commitment of only four hours per month; on the plus side, you will receive a park pass for your service.

Jack London State Historic Park is operated by the nonprofit Jack London Park Partners and receives no state funding, so it relies on volunteers to help operate the parks.

For information and to sign up, contact Susan St. Marie at sstmarie@jacklondonpark.com.
