Glen Ellen Village Fair
Sunday October 13th 2019 -
On Sunday, Oct. 13, the Glen Ellen Fair Association will be bringing their tiny hamlet together to celebrate the 29th Annual Glen Ellen Village Fair.
It happens each year on the second Sunday in October, and this year the theme is “Small Town, Big Heart” with Jim Shere as Grand Marshal.
Live musical entertainment on the Main Stage includes Dan Martin and the Noma Rock Steady Band, Frankie Bourne and the Wildcards, and The Illegitmate AC/DC. For the younger crowd, come hear Radar, The Trips, Rockcats, Arrowhead, The Lee Sisters and more on the Second Stage. There is a little something for everyone.
Visit the 80-plus vendors. Sit yourself down on a bale of straw with a plate of delicious food and drink. Let the kids spend some time creating something fun in the Crafts Booth, after having their face painted. You’ll find one-of-a-kind gifts, pottery, jewelry, yard art, paintings, photography, and more – think birthday gifts, anniversaries, or even holiday shopping (it’s never too soon!) Buy a raffle ticket (or five or ten), and take home a fair t-shirt or vintage fair poster.
For further information, contact fair organizers at 935-9163 (vendor applications, parade entries, and raffle ticket sales). Follow the fair on Facebook. And come join the fun on Oct. 13. The parade starts at 12 noon and the fair begins immediately afterward.
Please note: On fair day, Arnold Drive will be closed between Warm Springs and London Ranch roads from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Proceeds from raffle ticket sales benefit selected Glen Ellen community nonprofits.
