Kenwood Vineyards comes to Berger

The Nov. 12 luncheon meeting of SIR Branch #92 will feature the winemaker for Kenwood Vineyards, Zeke Neely, discussing “Kenwood Vineyards, Defined by the Wild of Sonoma since 1970.”
Neely has always been fascinated by the balance of science and creativity inherent in winemaking. Stepping into the world of winemaking in 2003, he previously completed a degree in biochemistry and a Masters in viticulture and enology. Neely joined the Kenwood winemaking team in 2017, bringing with him a curiosity and a respect for the natural environment that strongly aligned with the Kenwood winemaking ambition.
The lunch menu features roast turkey, baked ham or vegetable lasagna. The cost including tax and tips is $23. Plus wine tasting. Social time starts at 11:30 a.m. with lunch service at noon.
