Celebrate the spirit of Sonoma Mountain

On Dec. 14, 3-4:30 p.m., come to Jack London State Historic Park and enjoy the light of inspiration, which shines bright even at the darkest time of year. Local author Arthur Dawson will read from his recent local bestseller Where the World Begins; Sonoma Mountain Stories and Images and speak about the role Sonoma Mountain has played in his own creative life and that of many artists and visionaries.

Dawson will be joined by former Sonoma County Poet Laureate Iris Dunkle, with readings from her own and Charmian Londonís writings, all inspired by the local landscape.

A unique holiday gift will be available: A signed copy of Where the World Begins plus a guided hike with the author in the spring for $65.

Purchase of the book will go to support Jack London Park Partners and Sonoma Mountain Preservation
